That big building that took over the corner between Johnny Carson park and Providence St. Joseph's Hospital has been...empty for a while. The one with the fancy misting sprinklers and the exterior parking elevators...may finally be getting some tenants. Alameda's newest business building will be welcoming DC Entertainment and KCET staff offices in the near future.
The Pointe, as it has been known to curious drivers watching the construction and see-thru non-occupation of this high-rise structure, has been a thorn in the Burbank eye for a while.
